5 Steps To Improve Visitor Conversion

#1 Learn about your customer experience.

Take time each week and walk yourself through your store as if you were your own customer. Have in mind something you want in particular and begin a search for the item. Take the time to notice the experience. Did you find what you we’re looking for? Also was there any level of confusion, did something not function as expected? If you run into an issue let us know immediately. Follow up the search by visiting a product page, making selections, and clicking on description tabs. Is everything working as expected? Now jump in the cart and begin fulfilling an order. If everything seems to work as expected and nothing seems out of place then you know you’re giving your customers a good experience.

#2 Bundle where you can bundle

When visitors are shopping for a product that may require additional products make sure to bundle these. For example a visitor is shopping for a new set of wheels. Chances are they’ll need to know if these tires or those tires can fit with the wheels. Bundling that information with Shopping Cart Elite is easy to do and should be done every chance you can. #3 The rule of 15

Offer your visitor this information on page to avoid clicking around. This falls back to the first 2 points we made. Bundling items and customer experience. Offering a bundle, a comparison, and a smooth experience is all it takes to improve conversions.

#4 Financing

Some items are priced high or when bundle can become expensive. If available, offer the visitor a link to financing. Make sure that information is clearly available and visible on all pages of the website. Placing a link in the footer may not be enough.

#5 Stronger content

Visitors are looking for information about products before they buy. Having weak product descriptions and limited details or specifications can turn a visitor away. Make sure you’re optimizing the content on these pages to ensure quality information is delivered. This helps your visitors become informed and they won’t be left in doubt or still searching for more information.

Learning your visitors behavior can be the difference between conversion and abandonment. A solid and informative customer experience will build confidence in your visitor. People buy with confidence. If you run into a bad user experience or something seems broken let us know about it.
